Costa de Los Pinos, perfect for couples & families

The hotel complexes in this area are very nice but they can get full in summer months. So, I suggest you book early. There are also some very impressive luxury hotels and luxury villas in this resort.

I would recommend Costa de Los Pinos to both couples and families seeking sheer tranquillity for their holidays in Majorca. This resort, situated a perfect distance away from the more populated resorts, is excellent for a relaxing or romantic holiday in Majorca. I think it’s the perfect resort for a restful or romantic holiday.

Families will love the peacefulness of this resort and it has some very nice beaches.

Costa des Pins beach is smallish, but with fine sand and lovely clear aqua marine water. This beach does become very busy during summer weekends with local families. My girlfriend Julie and her husband run the very nice beachside restaurant on this beach where you can take a break from the sun and sit in the shade to enjoy a snack or liquid refreshment.

There is also a beach here in a small cove, where my husband and I go fishing. It is possible to enjoy a more private day on this beach.

If you want the excitement of bigger and busier resorts, there are daytrips to them, or if you hire a car, they are minutes away (Cala Bona and Cala Millor). There is now a new bus service just started in February 2009 that does the loop circuit from Son Servera, stopping at Los Pinos, Cala Bona and Cala Millor. This service runs every hour all year long.

There are several very nice restaurants in this area.

You also have several golf courses within 15 minutes from this resort. These include, Son Servera(located in Los Pinos), Pula, Canyamel and Capdeprera.
